April is Autism Awareness Month—a time to celebrate neurodiversity, promote understanding, and support individuals on the autism spectrum. In the East Bay, numerous organizations are dedicated to providing resources, support, and opportunities for individuals with autism and their families.


Autism Center of Northern California (ACNC) – Oakland

ACNC offers comprehensive support from diagnosis through adulthood, including early intervention and in-person services.  


Embracing Autism Collaborative Services (EACS) – Oakland

EACS hosts social groups for children aged 3–15, focusing on social connection, self-advocacy, and communication.


CIP Berkeley offers specialized transition programs for young adults with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences, supporting success in college, employment, and independent living. 

Bridge AOR and bridgeMLS offices will be closing at noon on Friday, April 18, in observance of Good Friday.
