NAR's Board of Directors approved a change to the Code of Ethics training requirement, extending it from every two years to every three years. This extends the current cycle deadline from Dec. 31, 2020, to Dec. 31, 2021.

REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®. View all courses below.

Training may be completed through local REALTOR® associations or through another method, such as home study, correspondence, classroom courses, or online courses. Read the consequences for failing to complete Code of Ethics training.

All eligible C.A.R. Honorary Member-for-Life applications to be considered by the Board of Directors at the Spring 2020 C.A.R. Business Meetings MUST be sent to staff@bridgeaor.org no later than April 10, 2020.

To qualify as a C.A.R. Honorary Member-for-Life, REALTOR® members of the State Association must have been an active C.A.R. member for a minimum of 25 years AND reached the age of 75 years or older. If approved, state dues shall be deemed paid-in-full for life (commencing the year following approval) and shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of State Association membership accorded to all members.
