We have become aware of a scam targeting sellers and listing brokers/agents attached to listings. Scammers masquerading as PG&E are contacting individuals attached to listings stating that a PG&E representative is on their way to their property to turn off the power unless a payment is made via the phone. According to PG&E's website, the company will never ask for financial information over the phone. If you receive a call and would like verification or to report the scam, PG&E has a dedicated customer support line: 1-833-500-SCAM.
